Chile Hockey announced the call for 20 players to be present in the world rankings scheduled from 1 to 8 March at the Cesped Claudia Schüler Hockey Center of the National Stadium Park.
Chile Hockey confirmed the 20 player payroll which will compete in the FIH Hockey World Cup 2026 Qualifiers Santiago, a tournament to be played from March 1 to 8 at the Claudia Schüler Cesped Hockey Center of the National Stadium Park.
Equipment technically led by Cristóbal Rodríguez It will face a major challenge on its international path, as the championship will give three direct places to the next world event. The competition will bring together eight selections divided into two groups, with semi-finals and final positions.
The Diablas (15 °) will be at Group A of the tournament with Australia (7 °), France (17 °) and Switzerland (38 °). In Group B Japan (12 °), Ireland (13 °), Malaysia (21 °) and Canada (22 °) will compete. The two best teams in each area will advance to semi-finals, where the classified ones will be defined. Netherlands and Belgiumwhich will take place from 15 to 30 August.
The teams that lose in the stage of the top four of the championship will go to play for the third place, and the winner gets the third direct quota.
Finally, the fourth place in ladies will be defined by those who get the fourth place of this tournament and the Qualifiers of India. The winner will be determined by the best ranking in the FIH.
