The youth teams participated in the Pan American Junior Barbados 2023. And even though they didn't come back with the champion trophy, they also managed to get positive accounts out of the competition.

A very positive expedition. This would qualify the passage of L @ s Diabl @ s Junior in the Pan American Junior Barbados 2023. Although both squads came to the Caribbean with different goals, getting on the podium and getting tickets for world dating were the great goals.

At least for men, as the ladies will receive the category competition in late 2023. And they did. While the beginning was not positive (0-7) to Argentina, they managed to recover and beat Brazil (2-0). They then succumbed to Canada, in a painful defeat for shootouts, but they achieved a valuable victory for the United States, which ended up classifying them to the Malaysian World Cup.

The ladies, for their part, had an overwhelming step in the group phase. They beat 20-0 to Barbados, 3-0 to Canada and 8-0 to Guyana. However, in the round of the top four they could not with the Americans, who also eliminated them by shootouts. But like the men, they took off in the duel for the third place and beat Canada.

"It's a total satisfaction. We are proud of the team, the trust that was held in the staff and, above all, the union of the boys in the most difficult times. For us they were all defining parties. We grew up party to party and proved to be up to the tournament by classifying the World Cup," said Matías Amoroso, coach of the Shit. Junior.

Sebastian Wolanski, captain of the men, added that "we meet the objective: to classify with Chile the World Cup. It is a new challenge that we have to prepare to face in the best way. We want to be a team that will compete, not walk."

Finally, Andrés de Witt, president of FEHOCH, was also very happy for the achievement. "We have a full heart. We categorize both worlds, in court and with the right that this entails. We are very happy, are generations of replacement, for Shit. and Diablas. And we see that they have a lot of human quality in addition to their abilities in sport. "

Thus, both squads return to the country with bronze medal with the planetary quote as a great goal. In Chile it will be held between 6 and 17 December, while the men will do the same, in Kuala Lumpur, from 6 to 16 last month of 2023.
