The tremendous initiative led by the Government via the Ministry of Sport had more than 120 children in the National Stadium Park. In addition, for the first time a National Tournament party was held on the Claudia Schüler court.

The Hockey Cesped was one of the major protagonists in the commemoration of Sport Day which was developed in the National Stadium Park and throughout the country.

The activities at the Claudia Schüler Training Center of the main sports reduction began with a series of clinics where more than 120 girls and boys participated who could approach discipline, know how it develops and share a pleasant moment in such a special day for Chile.

In the instance - along with students of Quinta Normal, Peñalolén and other communes of the Metropolitan Region - the different values generated by sport have been strengthened such as teamwork, inclusion, discipline, respect and perseverance to move forward.

«It was a remarkable weekend. The presence of hundreds of boys and girls playing hockey on the National Stadium court is the result of our struggle to have these facilities. It's a dream that's coming true and we're going for more in regions. «We have a goal of having three more public courts to keep growing our sport«, said the President of the Chilean Hockey Federation (FEHOCH), Andrés de Witt.
