The Chilean female and male grass hockey selections closed on Sunday their participation in the maximum continental competition. Both elencos will be seen again in competition during the pre-world.
The Chilean female and male selections were protagonists on Sunday of the last day of the 2010 Pan American Cup. The Diablas they faced Uruguay with bronze, while the Shit. they defined the third place in the tournament against Canada.
The first team to jump to the Celeste Cancha in Montevideo was that of men. Produced by the technician Emiliano Monteleone, the national plantel fired from the tournament with a defeat for 2-1, where the Chilean conversion was the work of Juan Ignacio Amoroso.

"We have to prepare the Preworld well and get all the lessons that can be learned from this championship. We have to correct what went wrong, prepare more fixed games and turn the page. We have to go ahead," said Diablas coach Cristóbal Rodríguez.
