The Chilean women's selection of grass hockey goes through one of the best moments in its history after getting its classification to the World Cup of Belgium and the Netherlands that will take place from August 15 to 30. The Diablas, unwittingly, won the Qualifiers 2026 and are now waiting for the draw.

The team that technically leads Cristóbal Rodríguez is located in the eleventh place of the International Federation's Ranking (FIH) and is one of the 16 teams that will play the highest planetary event.

"A good draw comes and I have faith in the world ranking we have. There are no easy rivals, but that could help us a lot. We are excited, we are at an important time for our sport and we will obviously be waiting for those who will be our rivals," said Chile's President Hockey, Andrés de Witt.

"We have expectations of staying in a good group and being able to move forward at important rounds. We are working to achieve that and a good draw will help us push the project," complements the top leader of national grass hockey.
