The Chilean Sub 21 lawn hockey selections got a ticket to the next planetary date on different roads. The men won the bronze medal and the ladies finished fourth in the Pan American Cup Santiago 2026.
This Saturday was the twelfth and last day of action in the Pan American Cup Junior Santiago 2026. Chile represented by Shit. and Junior Diablas, had an absolute prominence after the classification of both Sub 21 teams to the 2027 World Cup (with headquarters yet to be defined).
In the first hour, the male cast was presented on court 1 of the Claudia Schüler Training and Skills Center of the National Stadium Park to face the United States in the bronze match and the last quota to the planetary meeting.
With goals of Felipe Duisberg (Club Manquehue) and Gaspar Fosalba (Catholic University), the national squadron was imposed by 2-0 in front of the whole of North America and took over the last world-wide ticket in an exciting definition.
"We knew it was a difficult and long tournament, so we had to get fine to this game. We're super happy, we went to get that quota to the World Cup and we did it. Turning goals into home is the most exciting and best in the world," said Duisberg, who was chosen as the most prominent player of the meeting.
Junior Diablas got the extra quota to the World Cup 2027
After the great victory of the male cast, the Junior Diablas contested the same instance in the ladies' picture. They faced Uruguay in the bronze match and the last World Cup 2027 in the main court of Ñuñoa.
In front of a large public framework that filled the tribune, the "Cimarroncitas" repeated the first phase marker and took the victory on the minimum account over Chile. The only one of the meeting was the work of Justina Arregui.
With this result, the Uruguayan women took advantage of the third world Cup that the Junior Pan American Cup was delivered. But it was not the only thing, as the Chilean women also achieved the target of classification despite cutting in the fourth place.
