For the first time, the final phase of this modality that continues to grow at the country level was held outside the Metropolitan Region. Meet the teams that were crowned in a competition that forms part of the Development and Masification Plan that drives with great results the Chilean Federation of Hockey over Cesped (Fehoch).

With great success the National Hockey Tournament 5 (H5) was developed in the facilities of the German Sports Club of Concepción (CDA). It brought together 600 players and players from 60 teams from 10 regions of Chile, consolidating itself as one of the most important sports events of the year.

In five categories of ladies and men, the championship stood out for its organization, a high level of competition and for being the first to be held in regions. He brought together the best exponents of this modality that has gained popularity in recent years and is part of the Plan for the Development and Masification of this sport in Chile.

The final phase, which the regional monarchs had access to, promoted the sport spirit and camaraderie among the players, coaches and fans. During the weekend there were intense games in which the teams demonstrated their talent and preparation, making clear the growth of hockey in Chile and the potential of new talents that arise in different regions.

It had the presence of authorities of the Chilean Federation of Hockey Cesped (Fehoch), such as President Andrés de Witt and Head Coach of Talents and Development, Sergio "Cachito" Vigil, who were accompanying the teams and supported the growth of the activity.

The H5, also known as hockey five, is a type of grass hockey that is played with teams of five players on a smaller to the traditional court. It allows a faster and more dynamic game, with less space to maneuver, which increases the intensity.
